I was delighted to find out that my piece, “Reach the Sky (Eclipse),” was chosen for inclusion in NURTUREart’s annual exhibition benefit, taking place this year at Bernarducci Meisel Gallery in midtown (37 W. 57th St. NYC) on Monday, October 28th, 5-9pm.  NURTUREart had over 600 submissions for artwork donations, but narrowed them down to 260 works for the show, and I’m glad to be one of them!

Tickets for the event are on the pricey side, but it’s a benefit for an awesome non-profit space that needs funds to continue their programming.  And, with the purchase of an upper level ticket, you are able to go home with an original artwork!  So if you can spare the money, you should attend.   Although I’ve never officially participated in a show at their Brooklyn space, I’ve always admired their mission and the way they run their non-profit exhibition space and programming.  It’s super cool that they support both emerging  artists and curators.
