Cedilla lit mag release party Saturday, August 8th

I was lucky enough to be one of 10 invited artists to create 15 original covers for the newest edition of Çedilla. Each person who purchases a copy of Ç viii (v. 8.0) will have the ability to choose a book with an artist-designed cover. It was a fun project, which I decided to use liquid watercolor, dye and pen to execute. Here's the results:

There is a free, open to the public release party, presented by Spinoza Press, at Bar Matchless in Williamsburg, this Saturday, August 8th, from 3-6pm. Look at the cover art, listen to live music by matt gray and nathanael lay, hear readings from the journal and mingle with the people involved. Ç, or Cedilla (pronounced Sa-dee-ya), is an annual literary journal now in its 8th year. The covers of the eighth edition of the Cedilla journal features original artwork by 10 artists and will be on display. The pages are filled with stories, poems, and other writings by several authors who will be reading from the journal.
